A Fresh Start

Get a fresh start to 2019 with this easy and crisp red cabbage salad. Easy to do and goes great as a side dish or as a snack.

Red Cabbage Salad

INGREDIENTS:

1 small red cabbage 2 carrots 2 tablespoons of sesame oil 1 lemon juiced 1 teaspoon of honey* 1 tsp of fish sauce* 1 tsp of sesame seeds 1 tsp of grated ginger (increase amount if wanting more pungency)

*Use agave syrup for honey substitution for vegan *use soy sauce or tamarin sauce 1 tsp for vegan or shellfish allergies

Preparation:

Shred the cabbage and carrots, is easier if you have a food processor but a grater will work or simple finely chopped. Mix the the rest of the ingredients to make the dressing in a bowl. Mix with the cabbage and carrots. Sprinkle some sesame seeds and done! Enjoy
